For more than 10 years, Ard has been working on business agility from different angles, starting out as a General Manager in an IT incubator company supporting start-ups. Followed by an assignment as IT Director for an education platform, breaking down monoliths and speeding up release time. As Manager Software Development at the Dutch Railways, he became actively involved in Agile, Lean, Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices, further evolving towards an Agile Leader instead of a Manager.
In his current role as CTO BL Digital at Royal HaskoningDHV he is continuing his journey bridging IT and Civil Engineering.
